Study visits for education and vocational training specialists and decision-makers

Learn more about education and training policies and practice across Europe and establish new contacts for further cooperation and exchange. Get a grant from the European Union and explore education and training issues with specialists and decision-makers from other European countries.
A study visit is a short stay of three to five days in a host country for a group of 10 to 15 European education and vocational training specialists and decision-makers. A study visit includes presentations and on-site visits to ministries, educational and training institutions, training sites, etc. The visits provide a forum for discussion, exchange and learning on themes of common interest and on European and national priorities.
The Study Visits Programme is part of the EU’s lifelong learning programme 2007-13 (LLP). The programme is coordinated at national level by the national agencies located in all participating countries which award the grants to the participants. Cedefop coordinates the programme at European level for the European Commission since the 1 January 2008.
